Stuff I made

A few of mine, all live and all free. There are dozens more — for friends, and for people who somehow found me.

Game hub

Live

It used to be called Spades Online, which got a little awkward once Solitaire and the dice moved in. Now it’s a free hub of card and dice games: Spades, Belot, Solitaire, Gin Rummy, Euchre, Cribbage, Yacht and more. Play bots, strangers, or friends in a private room. No download, no real money.

The table is drawn with PixiJS. Every move travels in real time over Socket.IO to a NestJS backend, and accounts and rankings live in PostgreSQL through Prisma.

Calculators for makers

Live

Free calculators for quilters, woodworkers, knitters, gardeners and pet people. How much fabric, lumber, resin or wax do you actually need? Each page answers that, then shows the formula, a chart and a worked example — so nobody has to do maths on their phone in the middle of the shop.

Under the hood

No server at all: every page is prerendered at build time and the maths runs in your browser. Each formula is a small pure function with unit tests, and the pages are Markdown — so a new calculator is a formula, a component and one page.
